Welcome to the Forth valley League

The league is for young athletes from u11 to u15 age groups both boys and girls. There are 2 matches then a final followed by a President’s select match.

The league is a springboard for young athletes to develop and progress in their athletics career. Many of Scotland’s international athletes started out competing in the league.

Object

To encourage youngsters to actively participate irrespective of their ability in athletic activities (whether in a team /individual setting) where the emphasis is on having fun whilst trying to improve the individual’s health /fitness levels.

To promote athletics as a family sport through the provision of encouraging Parents to volunteer as officials during the events under the guidance of qualified UK Athletic Officials & ultimately become qualified officials themselves.

To help member clubs make all forms of athletics as attractive as possible through the promotion of competition and such other activity as the member clubs consider it worthwhile to promote.

Congratulations to Max Leslie of Edinburgh AC who set a new record in the Under15 Boys 300 with a time of 37.8secs.

Congratulations to Ethan Elder of Team Borders who set a new record in the Under15 Boys 1500 with a time of 4m.25.6secs.

Congratulations to Archie Fuller of Team Borders who set a new record in the Under13 Boys Discus with a distance of 18.73m.

Congratulations to Tammie Louise Hunter of Team Borders who set a new record in the Under13 Girls Discus with a distance of 20.04m.
