Brian Winning our dear friend

It is with great sadness that we hear that a great friend and supporter of the Forth Valley League as well as his wonderful work with athletics coaching in Scotland, Brian Winning has passed away suddenly. Brian was always helpful to clubs and individuals as well as fellow coaches and his enthusiasm above all was felt by everyone. He always put others first before himself and without a doubt has been the driving force amongst many top athletes in Scotland progressing from grass roots. Everyone at the Forth Valley League would like to express our sincere condolences to Brian’s family and to the whole of Edinburgh AC membership and beyond.

Thank you for all you have done in helping everyone in the sport and imparting your knowledge and experience. Your work will live on forever in others.

You will be in our hearts forever and will never be forgotten.
